Stampin' Up! Beautiful Bunch and Butterfly Framelits
Instructions to Make This Card

What you’ll need:

Whisper White, Tangelo Twist and Blackberry Bliss card stock

Designer Series Paper in Tangelo Twist

Inks in Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss

Butterfly Framelits

Aqua Painter, Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Tombo Liquid Glue & Glue Dots

Steps:

  • Start with Whisper White card base 4 1/4″ x 11″. Fold in half to form standard card.
  • Stamp 3 Flowers from Beautiful Bunch set of your choice using Tangelo Twist.
  • Stamp 3 more of same flower in Hello Honey and cut out the centers of those flowers! Glue centers onto Tangelo Twist flowers. Watercolor paint the seeds of flower very lightly using more water to lighten it than Blackberry Bliss ink.
  • Designer Series paper cut to 2 1/2″ x 4″ and adhered to bottom of card base leaving a border.
  • Cut a 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ strip of Tangelo Twist and attach just over the top edge of DSP.
  • Use Big Shot to make the butterfly out of Blackberry Bliss. Note: wax paper placed between your card stock and the Thinlit die makes it easier to remove cutout from the die!
  • Bend Butterfly slightly in half and adhere at the bottom of card with Glue Dots. Add rhinestones to the butterfly’s body!

What you’ll need:

Card stock in Whisper White, Tangelo Twist and Blackberry Bliss

Inks in Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss, and Tangelo Twist

1/2″ circle punch

Best Day Ever stamp set

Glue dots (or adhesive) and Stampin’ Up dimensionals

Steps:

  • Start with whisper white card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. Fold it in half to make standard card.
  • Use dots stamp inked with Hello Honey ink–stamp on, then stamp off, randomly inking stamp again as you create an oval around the card front.
  • Use 1/2″ strips of paper to create the decorative strips using small images in the set–I used pinwheel stamped in Tangelo Twist and the open heart with Blackberry Bliss. Approx 4″ long to stamp: cut ends at opposite diagonal cuts to 3 1/2″ to 3 3/4″!
  • Stamp Sentiment “Best. Day. Ever.” On Whisper White piece 1 1/2″ x 2 1/4″ in Tangelo Twist.
  • Mount on Blackberry Bliss piece cut 1 3/4″ x 2 1/2″ then frame that with Tangelo Twist piece cut 2″ x 2 3/4″
  • Stamp small full heart in set on scrap Whisper White with Blackberry Bliss and then punch out with 1/2″ Circle punch–mount with Glue Dot on edge of framed sentiment.

WooHoo I’ve successfully completed 3 months of hosting Stamp Camps and held my first Workshop in my new Stampin’Up business!!! The jitters of “will they like my designs” has become less nerve racking. I’m having FUN casing the web for potential ideas as well as creating my own designs. New people are enjoying learning to stamp/craft OR they are rekindling a prior love for stamping! Can’t wait for the next quarter, hope to see you at one of my scheduled camps!
